My daughter is having swelling on face and near eyes issue from two months.
Blood test shows less albumin (2.5).
Urine protein is nill, lever test also ok.
Last week we did endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr. Is telling that she has cow milk protein allergy.
Now we have stopped milk intake and started Neocate powder.
But still no releif.
Please advice me.

albumin 2.5 is worrisome. reason may be low intake or less synthesis by liver or loss either from kidney or intestine. plz consult doctor need some more investigations like 24 hr urinay protien etc.... low albumin may increase load on heart leads to its dysfunction

Those parents who feed baby mostly by giving milk ,results are edematous baby with low hb&lowprotein.
According to me stop milk from 8amto8pm and give semisolid diet like Dal,dalia,khicdi alu kela rice,apple,upama,halwa,patolia,rab,kadi idle poha satu custard etc and from 80pmto8am give mother milk is preferable if not give top milk Withoutwater.
