Swelling not gone post removal of wisdom
Around a month back I had undergone surgical removal of tooth(down side). Even after a month's time the swelling has not gone and there is also a pain in the swelling area i e. Jawline and near ear. Also I am not able to open my mouth fully. A week back doctor had prescribed an antibiotic. But stopping of antibiotics the pain resumed again. Please advise.

It seems to me u might b suffering from Dry socket.
Get ur self examined from a dentist and confirm the cause of swelling first.

evaluation of what kind of swelling it is has to b done clinically before coming to the diagnosis n treatment planning.
u need to go for an xray of that area.
while visiting your denntist u shud b ready with a pre n post operartion xray

It will be great if you could share your x-ray done before wisdom tooth surgery. Else you can get your OPG done and share.. so that reason could be evaluated. If required you can schedule an appointment at our clinic in Panvel. But get your radiograph done for may evaluation
