Dear sir, Greetings for the day . As I read the problem, you are suffering from unexplained weight gain over a short period of time. The symptoms and the duration in which you have developed these  symptoms suggest you should not ignore and personally visit a general physician in your near vicinity. Only after thorough case taking and examination plus investigations,  we will be able to come to a conclusive diagnosis of what the problem is. Also, later on you can try taking homeopathic medicines at least for a month only after consulting a homeopathic doctor. Get well soon. Thanks and regards Dr Rachna Sethi
Next Steps
visit a doctor and the doctor may ask you some investigations like thyroid, kidney function and and liver function etc which are all routine tests.
Health Tips
dont delay visit to doctor. dont self medicate or self diagnose yourself may be some diet modifications and life style changes will be beneficial

Sudden weight gain along with swelling/oedema requires investigation to rule out hypothyroidism. Get your T3 T4 and TSH level checked along with renal function test. Homoeopathic medicines can be prescribed basis clear diagnosis and case history.
