It looks like extra muscle and there is swelling in gum, sometimes very painful and will bleed. Did scanning and nothing was found, local doctor advised to use ' metronidazole gel 1.5% w/w'. Used it for a week, no much change or difference. Please advice me the medication for this problem

Hello Ma'am It mostly looks like inflamed gum; a condition of gums known as gingivitis that leads to bleeding of gums and pain. You will have to get a round of teeth scaling and polishing done by a dentist followed by maintenance therapy that includes gum massaging, flossing, using of antisensivity toothpaste, mouthwash and warm saline rinses. It might take some time to go but it will definitely improve. Since you have already got a scanning done and the doctor has not found anything specific so definitely it is mostly related to gums. We also need to check your medical history whether you are having any blood pressure issue or any other medical history because some medicines lead to swelling of gums and inflammation of gums so that needs to be ruled out.

At the level of growth that is there, a mechanical problem is created in that the flap of tissue will continously cause  food lodgement and this cause a continous irritation. Would be better to go to a dentist and get a procedure called curretage done. Medications will give limited releif.
Next Steps
you need to get gum treatment for proper releif
