Swelling in anal skin edges
Hi, have anal edges swelling close to the skin where one side of the edge getting swollen after sitting for long hours. My dad doctor didn't find any abnormalities in the physical exam so we had perinial MRI which shows i have abscess in mid anal canal which is very small and the doctor prescribed a antibiotic for 10 days and said it will go away nothing serious. Even after using antibiotic i still feel the swelling in the anal edges so doctor performed sigmoidoscopy to check if there are any polyps internally. the result shown i have grade 2 hemorrhoids which isn't detected during MRI. Please clarify with my  exact problem. Attached the reports for the same.

It's difficult to get an idea about your anal edge swelling.Upload an image of the same to make it easier.Morever as per your MRI abcess is located in middle of anal canal , unless examined difficult to correlate with the report.

You have wasted your time and money and antibiotics for the treatment of a non issue. This is the first time I have seen a patient having  MRI of the perianal region for such symptoms. By the way what do you imply when you say that you have "anal edges swelling close to the skin"?
