Thanks for putting up your query. The swelling described is painful, increasing in size and of short duration. Likely to be hordeolum internum. It is more likely to be a stye if it occurs on the outer aspect of the eyelid involving the eyelash. Oral and topical medication is indicated.
Would be better to consult an oculoplasty surgeon who specializes in diagnosis and management of such swellings . Hope this helps.
