Small swelling present inside the upper eyelid over the medial side of the right eye . Present over three days painful mild increase in size

The symptoms are  suggestive of Stye.Do hot fomentation and can take pain killers.
Next Steps
Consult near by ophthalmologist if no relief or increase pain and swelling.

If repeated problem might be due to uncorrected refractive error.

In the meantime I think you should do some warm water compress and take some pain killer tablet to make you comfortable.

Thanks for putting up your query. The swelling described is painful, increasing in size and of short duration. Likely to be hordeolum internum. It is more likely to be a stye if it occurs on the outer aspect of the eyelid involving the eyelash. Oral and topical medication is indicated. Would be better to consult an oculoplasty surgeon who specializes in diagnosis and management of such swellings . Hope this helps.
