Swelling and pain in leg
My right ankle has swollen and continuosly acking near the ankle and knee bone. Doctor advised fir xray and confirmed that i had peronal tendonitis advised for two weeks rest. I have been under rest for two weeks however i still have pain and swelling in right leg mainly at knee joint and ankle bone. Please advise.

Any tendon inflammation takes 6-8 weeks to settle down. Rest the tendon, take painkillers, use ice compression and gentle stretches. Give it time and the inflammation will reduce.
