Swelling & pain in right side of vagina
Hi Doc, I have swelling and pain in the right side of vagina since two days. It has occurred two times before also in the previous year. I consulted to the gynaecologist and they told me it was some kind of bacterial or fungal infection. Some medicines were given and both time it turned into furuncle and pus came out after few days.  But again third time, it happened in the same pattern. I want to know why  it's happening again and again in the same place with same pattern. Kindly suggest.

If it's happening again and again it means that you need to broaden the opening through which pus comes out and then give it a good wash and allow it to heal on its own supplemented by antibiotics. Also get a sugar test done to rule out diabetes

This could be recurrent Bartholin's abscess. Please consult with a Gynaecologist in your area who can examine you physically and advice radical treatment.
