Swelling after wisedom tooth extraction
I had upper right wisedom tooth extracted at around 1 pm on 11/3/2018.Today is 13/3/2018 10:25. There is major swelling of right cheek now. I have taken medicines on time and followed all instructions. There is no pain, just swelling. Is this normal? In how much time will it subside?

It's not very unusual thing after wisdom tooth extraction. But it would subside gradually, if the extraction was done perfectly.
Health Tips
POST TOOTH EXTRACTION INSTRUCTIONS: 1. The cotton kept in the extraction side is to be maintained in the same position for half an hour to help stop bleeding. 2. Spitting out blood and Saliva following the extraction procedure must be avoided as it prolongs the healing process. 3. Application of Ice pack extra orally on extraction side is recommended to reduce post operative bleeding. 4. Avoid eating Hot/ Hard / spicy food and aerated drinks for a day following the extraction. 5. Consumption of soft and cold food during healing phase is recommended. 6. Quit smoking and alcohol for minimum 72 hours (3 days) after extraction. 7. After 24 hours post extraction, one should do warm salt water gargling 3-4 times daily. 8. Consult your doctor if any problem persists.
