"Waking up with swelling in your feet and body that makes it difficult to walk is a clinical sign of Fluid Retention (Edema). While it might seem like a minor issue, morning swelling is often a 'red flag' that your body's filtration systems—specifically your kidneys or heart—might be struggling to balance fluids and electrolytes while you sleep
Next Steps
To identify the exact cause, I need a detailed history of: Your Daily Urine Output (is it less than usual?). Any history of High BP, Thyroid, or Diabetes? Your Current Diet (specifically your daily protein intake). Swelling is a symptom, not a disease. , we must rule out kidney or heart issues immediately. A detailed consultation will help me prescribe the necessary blood tests (KFT, LFT, CBC) and start the right treatment.
Health Tips
book a consultation immediately so I can review your full medical history and help you find the root cause before it leads to further complications."

Aap jo bata rahi hain—subah uthte hi swelling, specially foot me aur kabhi poora din rehna—ye fluid retention (edema) lag raha hai, par iska reason find karna zaroori hai. Common causes me kidney issue, thyroid problem, anemia/protein kam hona, ya kabhi heart/liver related bhi ho sakta hai. Agar swelling sirf ek pair me ho aur pain zyada ho to clot (DVT) ka bhi rule out karna padta hai. Filhaal aap ye basic cheezein follow karein: • Namak thoda kam karein • Pair ko din me 2–3 baar elevate karein (takia laga ke) • Zyada der tak khade rehna avoid karein • Tight footwear avoid karein Important: bina test ke diuretics (paani ki goli) start mat kariye. Tests jo karwana chahiye: • Kidney function test (KFT), urine routine • Thyroid profile (TSH) • LFT, serum protein/albumin • CBC Agar swelling rapidly badh rahi ho, saans phool rahi ho, ya sirf ek leg me pain + redness ho to turant doctor ko dikhaiye. Better rahega ek physician se milke proper evaluation kara lein, kyunki repeated swelling ko ignore nahi karna chahiye.
