After removing extra disc part which is out bulge ,how they protect remaining disc atbthe time of surgery to not come again outside..what they are doing ,becoz after cutting disc how to protect the outer layer of disc ...

The posterior longitudinal ligament is sutured to prevent further recurrence , recurrence may occur if patients keeps leaning , bending forward, lifting heavy weight or BMI is above recommended limits. Take medications that builds up collagen.

Posterior mechanism is there to take over.. but you have to avoid risk factor even after surgery to prevent problem in another vertebrae level..
