Due to disc bulge i have one question,
if doctor remove bulge disc cut then how the cut part area covered, how inside gelly protected ..

If disc is herniated totally. Then based on patient symptoms,if needed , surgeon plan for removal.gelly also gets removed .now artificial disc also available.

They remove only partial disc which is causing problem.. gelly portion is not removed

doctor only Remove the bulge area of the disc which is compressing your nerve root.if you have instability also then disc removed and it will be fixed with screws and other fixation devices
