Sugar levels and rosuvas 10mg
Hi want to check if there is anything that rosuvas increases sugar levels. I started rosuvas 10mg and telmisartan 40mg after that my sugar levels are going 240 to 260 post continously and 150 to 160 fasting. Previously it was below 200mg/dl post levels.

Statins especially rosuvas are shown to cause increase in blood sugar rise. If you have not changed your diet then it may be a cause for raised blood sugar.

Minimal increase in sugar levels with statins. You probably have diabetes and you need to be on the medication.

No..Check hba1c level in blood.. if that is in abnormal range you will require diabetic medications too..
