Suffering from jaw lock
Suffering from close jaw lock, i can't open my mouth properly, some times its cause pain also. i am suffering from it from last 10 month. Please help me out.

I think you are suffering from third molar (wisdom tooth ) infection causing trismus. Get your x-ray done for better evaluation.for the time being do lot of warm saline gargle and jaw opening exercises.donot take antibiotics and pain killers without prescription.

Your Temporomandibular joint problem may be due to third molar infection,  poor occlusion or bad Bruxism habit.. Plz give me a proper history to evaluate u further. Intraoral pictures also would help.  Feel free to consult Laser Smile Care Centre.  God bless u...

Hi....,it's due to tmj disorder. No need to worry, consult your nearby dentist. And take some precautions like don't open big mouth during yawning .and support your lower jaw during yawning.. Thanks n take care.

Hi there I understand your concern... Painful jaw opening or limited opening due to pain may be due tmj joint disorder...subluxation or dislocation of joint can cause these problems... Malocclusion of teeths may be underlying issues... Consult nearest dental surgeon they will guide you further.

Hi a proper clinical examination has to be done followed by instructions (jaw exercises) please visit a dentist. In the mean while don't open your mouth too wide & be cautious while yawning.

A proper clinical examination will be required followed by one or more X-rays (like OPG or tmj view)..... appropriate treatment plan can be revised only after correct diagnosis, so please visit your dentist soon for proper relief from your symptoms.... Regards...
