My girlfriend has broken up with me and i am depressed. I can't focus on my work and its been 1 year i am like this.

Yes,  if it is deep love like this,  it could be difficult  to move on. I think you are unhappy hence you are Confused between various reasons. Probably,  if you learn to Focus on the purpose of your life,  you might come out of this Confused  state of mind.
