Suddenly developing social anxiety
I've always leaned on the side of being an extrovert. But nowadays I'm finding myself developing social anxiety, and the intervals of this not happening are becoming shorter from time to time. Can it be because of me not going to school since about a year due to homeschooling (I've always met and made new friends 'only' at school, cause I'm not allowed to visit houses). So basically can my lack of friends interaction be a reason to this newly developed disorder? I'm about to turn 16 next month (

Find out the triggers and situations where you feel anxious. Also observe and note your symptoms. Everytime we perceive a situation to be threatening or where you would feel you d judged negatively or perceive yourself in a negative light, u may start feeling anxious when in social situations. It is difficult to pinpoint whether homeschooling solely is the reason for what you feel or there are other factors involved too. I d suggest get in touch with a psychologist near you or online for further assessment and understanding situation accurately

Hello dear As you have mentioned that you were an extrovert and didn’t had any issue in having social interactions. Lack of social meetings and interaction could have lowered down your exposure and thus might have created feeling of low confidence. This might be leading to the symptoms you are currently facing. Try consulting a clinical psychologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. You can also reach out to me through the practo app.
