Sudden weight and muscle loss.
In a matter of three four months, my father (63y/o) has undergone a sudden weight loss and he looks weak. Frequently he used to go to the washroom. Fearing it might be related to kidney he started reducing his potassium intake and started eating less. He suffers from high BP also. He is taking homoeopathy for that.
He also keeps complaining that he has a lot of tension. He is not ready for any tests as he doesn't want to take medication.

Try to explain to him that even if he doesn't do the tests the disease, if any may progress. If he gets diagnosed in time appropriate corrective steps can be taken. He may just need some dietary changes and exercise. And medication if required is also available. Recommended tests would be BSL F and PP, Thyroid profile, Renal function tests.
