Sudden decrease in weight
Hello doctors. So recently from 2-3 months I was having cough and cold. I took medicines for it. The cold went away but dry cough still exists. 2 months ago, my weight was 62.5 kg, but it's been decreasing ever since. Now it's 60 kg. What must be the reason for this? I wish to do some tests. Please recommend which test i must do. Thank you.

Hi,. It is important to understand that any long standing cough which is accompanied with symptoms of recurrent low grade fever or weight loss must be evaluation as they are indicative of Tuberculosis. It is a prevalent disease in our country but the treatment to is readily available and early treatment can prevent you from its complications.
