Stress headache w/giddine
I m under continues stress since 2 years, bit of work pressure and more from family side. Due to which sometimes i m even unable to sleep. Have so much anxiety and restlessness sometimes..unable to handle to it. Sometimes i have extreme pain in ear lobe stretching towards head..sometimes i have pain in eyes extending towards head..sometimes i have pain in half head..it can be any of the halves. Recently i had extreme shivering on my left side of body for like 10 mins and then numbness for 5 mins and got normal afterwards. It all started with session of extreme heaviness in head and then giddiness, breathlessness, then unconscious..kind of able to hear everything but unable to respond..then doctor diagnosed me with vertigo. Had medicines but didn't cure. Got Checked in PGI chandigarh, diagnosed with cervical-initial stage and migraine. Had meds for 3 months but didn't cure exactly.. then doctor refered me to psychologist. Had 2 visits there..after that i gave up. What should i do now?

Hi. I went through your query in detail and understand the problem that you must be facing. All your symptoms can be part of a depressive illness. Many a times, unexplained body aches occurs due to stress even in absence of other depressive symptoms. Your episode of unconsciousness can also be explained on the basis of underlying stress. I would suggest that you seek a psychiatric consultation and get evaluated. You will have to be patient about the response as it usually takes few weeks to start showing any response. Adequate treatment with medications and psychotherapy can help you ease out your problems.
Next Steps
Seek a psychiatric consultation.
Health Tips
Start exercising daily. Start writing diary daily to vent your emotions. Medications plus psychotherapy will be the best choice for your problems.
