Stress fracture below the knee in left l
Brisk walk and jog resulted in swelling and pain in my leg..i consulted a doctor ..He said it must be a torned meniscus...But after 13 days i got MRI done and then he said I have got stress fracture and he gave me vitamin D substitute to be taken twice a week and calcium and fracfix capsule daily and prescribed complete bed rest

would like to know bone metabolic parameters, like s.ca, s.phosphorus, s.alkaline phosphatase (bone specific), s.vitd3, S.PTH, reason why bone is so vulnerable fore stress fracture?
