I have stress and anxiety issue. i am thinking much all day of life problems. unable to concentrate on my study if i am studying i am unable to understand i was not like this before.if i learn something i forget after sometime.

Hello :) This is quite normal, we all tend to ruminate from time to time. We will have to understand the source of your stress/anxiety, understand what your underlying desires are and why they aren’t being fulfilled, keeping you thinking about it constantly to the extent that it is coming in the way of your studying. Your concerns are valid and probably it requires to be addressed than indulging into passivity and overthinking. Overthinking might lead to fatigue at times and that can cause short term forgetfulness. That can probably explain your difficulty of retaining information that you have read or learnt. Stress over a period of time does change people and their coping mechanisms. Some evolve for better and some might deteriorate if coping strategies are not improvised.
