A slight bleeding is normal just follow the instructions given by ur dentist and try have something cold by that side of extraction
If bleeding is there after 24hrs then consult ur doc soon

Bleeding is normal till 6 hours after extraction.
You need not worry.
Donot panic.... Just follow the precautions.
Donot spit or rinse vigorously
Don't keep touching with finger or tongue
Use cold compression for controlling bleeding.
If there is still no stop over it.... Place a few tea bags on the area.
If bleeding still doesn't stop.... You need a immediate dental visit.
Keep a watch....donot ignore symptoms. Quickly visit a dentist if the bleeding is not stopping
Minor bleeding can be expected upto 24 hours after extraction.
Check whether blood is bright red, because normally blood mixes with saliva and may appear bleeding more.
Try not to spit, rinse, gargle for next 24 hours.
Also avoid straw for liquids for 24 hours .
Any act that causes increased pressure in mouth can cause bleeding.

Has the bleeding stopped or not? In case the bleeding has not stopped contact your dentist immediately. Bleeding occurs when clot formed is dislodged from that area which is not a good sign.
