Speak and eat after tooth extraction
After how many days will i be able to speak normally and eat normally after tooth extration.Can I rinse or gargle my mouth with hot water after surgery.

You can speak normally after 2-4 hours of extraction if it is atraumatic extraction If it is a traumatic extraction that has sutures as well it may take upto 24 hrs You can start warm salt water rinses after 24 hrs of extraction in any case. *Never before that* *Do not spit for first 24 hrs for a good painless healing.*

Do not spit/rinse for 24 hours and swallow everything. Do not gargle or use staw to drink for 24 hours.Have ice cream after an hour of extraction. Do not eat hard,hot and spicy food for 3 to 4 days,instead eat cold,soft/semi solid food.Avoid smoking. You can do warm saline rinses thrice a day but after 24 hours of extraction. Avoid viggorous brushing/rinsing for the 1st 24 hours of extraction site.

Hii do not spit do not use straw Have something come after extraction Pain will go in 1 week fully

For first 24 hours after tooth extraction,  do not spit,rinse or have anything hot food. Better to have soft/semi solid food. Normally pain subsides in 3-5 days. Complete healing takes around 4-5 weeks.
