Sore throat, lump like feel in throat

Asked for Male, 24 Years

For three days am feeling a lump like in the throat. May be its a accumulation of thick cough.Unable to swallow food properly or breath properly. I am long time smoker. After I felt like this have stopped smoking and started taking "Brozedex" but its not curing at all. Please help me. Its a irritating feel in the throat as something is stucked there. And its been three days. Your help will be highly appreciated Sir/Madam

Stop smoking completely Take syp Gaviscon two spoons twice a day for a week one hoour before food. Avoid spicy and citrus food. Drink plenty of water. Consult online for doubts.
