I had diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia a with haemoglobin of 9.7 and ferritin 4.
And also had vitamin d deficiency (16) and b12 in the borderline 292.
Then I took a 100 mg ferium chewable iron tablets which caused me gastritis like indigestions and globus sensations in throat then I took gastric injections of 6 dose for 3 days
Which did not recover from gastric problem
This happened 3 months ago and I still have this throat lump
Feeling with burping and rarely stomach symptoms
I recently went to doctor and again took gastric injections for 3 days
Still it did not cure
Please help!!!
And for the iron deficiency doctor suggested me to take iv infusions
Hi
Greetings
Globus sensation can happen due to anemia or other nutritional deficiencies.
Reflux pharyngitis is known to irritate your throat lining which causes a constant feeling of throat clearing and mucus in the throat.
Iv medications would be better to prevent gastritis caused by oral iron supplements.
Next Steps
To see a Physician for correction of anemia.
To see a ENT surgeon for 70° Laryngoscopic examination of the throat.
kindly consult for further opinion.

A globus or throat-lump feeling together with gastritis-type symptoms after starting iron tablets often comes from reflux, since oral iron is well known to irritate the stomach and food pipe, especially on an empty stomach. Three months without improvement despite gastric treatment does need a proper look, since globus can persist from other causes too if reflux alone isn't the full explanation.
Next Steps
Switching to an IV iron infusion, as your doctor already suggested, bypasses the gut entirely and should ease the gastritis-like symptoms tied to oral iron tablets. Taking iron with food in the meantime, and asking your doctor about an acid-reducing medicine if reflux is confirmed, may help too.
Health Tips
If the throat lump comes with difficulty swallowing, weight loss or voice change, please see an ENT or physician to rule out other causes.
