Some a big Problem
Sir, a Psychiatrist has prescribed me Flunil 40 mg for this symptom. Because of OCD, I automatically get obscene images about my mother in my mind, which causes anxiety. I just wanted to confirm if this medicine is really suitable for such symptoms. Please guide me, Sir.

Yes flunil ( fluoxetine )is the FDA approved drug for OCD. Don’t doubt your doctor and follow their advice. However the dosage required can vary from person to person and some may even need other drugs to augment / amplify the effect of SSRI. Follow up regularly and discuss your concerns with your psychiatrist. They are there to help you out.
