Snoring or noisy breathing during sleep occurs due to collapse of the airways during sleep . Snoring itself is not particularly harmful however the choking episodes in between can be detrimental to health. An ENT examination with a sleep study to know the severity of these apneic ( choking ) episodes will help decide further treatment plan.
Next Steps
An ENT examination with sleep study and fibre optic laryngo scopy
Health Tips
Maintaining weight in a healthy category is of utmost importance with physical exercise everyday to tackle snoring issues
