Hi as previously pointed out there are multiple causes of snoring. However keeping in mind your age kindly visit you nearest ENT specialist specialising in sleep apnoea since the snoring could be a simple issue of obstructed airway.

Hello......... Obstructed nasal airways,poor muscle tone in the throat and tongue,long soft palate or uvula, obesity, short neck are the probable cause for snoring... Examination is required for diagnosis. You consult general physician or pulmonologist in nearest hospital.. Sleep apnea study will be done by doctor...
