Dear sir. It seems a rough edge of bone called as boney spicule. If it is not causing any difficulty then you may just ignore it. Otherwise, home treatment would be massaging gums with gum paint. You may use astrigum or stolin gum paint. Needs to be done three to four times a day. And warm saline rinses, as much as you can. The results would be slow. If however you have too much of difficulty then you can visit a doc. Your doctor would file and smoothen the rough edge. Regards

It looks like an exposed bone or bony spicule which may be due to the stitches not done properly or removed before healing or loosen up and also may be because of the bony not smoothen before closing There is nothing to worry about it For now u can take medication Tab Diclomol SOS (if there is pain) M/W betadiene
Next Steps
See your dentist if there is no improvement in healing for 7-10days and also radiograph will give more clear idea about it.As of now it should heal of it's own not to worry
Health Tips
Maintain oral hygiene (brush twice) Warm salt water rinses at least 3-4 times a day Use of betadiene mouthwash 3-4 times a day Rinse ur mouth everytime u eat Keep that area clean, don't let the food lodged over there

It looks like a bony spicule. Often after extraction when the bone around the tooth is not compressed or sharp edges are not filed properly then such a hard type of swelling appears. An IOPA xray is required to confirm the diagnosis.
Next Steps
Get an IOPA and consult an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon at your convenience
