Slight pain near left jaw
I am noticing slight pain near my left jaw when I open my mouth wide open its been a week now i feel like its gotten slightly better but when i open my mouth really wide pain is still there like a jaw lock , pain is on and off Should I consult a doctor? Or is there any medication that i can try?

This pain is due to tmj disorder.a full mouth xray/opg has to be taken.based on that muscle relaxants has to be taken.avoid intake of hard,solid foods.avoid excessive mouth opening.apply hot and cold compression at the area. You can consult me  if need medications.
