Sleeplessness
It's been more than 3 months now I've had a good night sleep. I try so hard to sleep but fail miserably and roll on my bed for 2 hours till I get sleep. If I sleep at 11pm i end up getting sleep by 1 only and the dire effect can be seen in the day time where my productivity at the work is getting badly impacted. In the noon I feel sleepy and throughout the day fatigued laziness sticked with dizziness. I have my BP checked which has shot to 150 This has become a major complex problem refraining from achieving my goals Please I welcome your valuable suggestions

Hi, As per your condition, I would suggest a cardiologist for hypertension. As far as disturbed sleep, we need to understand the reason of our stress. Stress can be dangerous for your heart. You need to consult a psychologist for this issue.

Hi It has been more than three months since you have not been able to sleep well. What thoughts come to your mind before sleeping? It is necessary to know if you are going through work-related stress and burnout. The lack of sleep is affecting your work and productivity. You also have high blood pressure and the cause of it could be anxiety. To feel better consult a psychologist and explain about your work and sleep pattern. In order to determine the reasons behind not being able to sleep well, with a psychologist you can also talk about your lifestyle, relationship with family, eating habit, water intake, caffeine intake, and physical activity. A psychologist will guide you on how you can sleep well and improve focus.
Next Steps
Consult a psychologist.

Hi, I can understand that the lack of sleep must be further increasing your stress and is also impacting your day to day life. Since you’ve been facing this issue for 3 months now, it would be a good idea to seek professional help so that the cause can be understood and effective treatment plan can be suggested.
Next Steps
Counseling sessions will be helpful in identifying the origins of your sleep issue. Since each individual is unique, their concerns and the approach required to deal with the concerns also needs to be carefully customised. Meanwhile, you can try some guided mediation before going to sleep or any relaxation techniques to help calm your mind.
