I'm otherwise healthy and get proper sleep in bed. But during train journey, can't sleep at all for last 8 years. I don't feel any panic or no thoughts regarding station will pass on. Series of thoughts of daily happenings go through the mind which end up in sleeplessness.
Please suggest remedy for this issue. Thanks.

Hi,
Experiencing difficulty sleeping during train journeys despite being otherwise healthy and having proper sleep habits can be challenging. Since your mind tends to race with thoughts about daily happenings, it may be helpful to practice relaxation techniques specifically during travel. Deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, or listening to calming music or guided meditations can help calm your mind and body, making it easier to fall asleep. Additionally, bringing familiar comfort items like a neck pillow or blanket, and establishing a routineâsuch as closing your eyes and focusing on your breathâcan promote relaxation. If these strategies do not help, consulting a healthcare professional or sleep specialist may be beneficial to explore underlying causes and receive tailored advice. Remember, consistent practice and patience are key, and with time, you may find it easier to rest during your journeys.
Exhaustion puts one to sleep, make sure you keep an intention to sleep, and feel the weight of the body and imagine all body muscles are fully relaxed. Counselling sessions are suggested.
Breathing Techniques: Try the 4-7-8 technique — inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 7, and exhale for 8. It helps calm mental chatter.
Aromatherapy: Use a lavender-scented roll-on or patch, which may promote calmness and sleep
