Singal Artery umbilical cord
My wife's 5th month anomaly scan done at 20th week starting, while it is observed that there is Singal Artery umbilical cord. What does single artery umbilical cord mean and how to take precautions for the baby's development. Baby weight is 240 grams now. Is baby's weigh is what is required at this stage. Please help us with your suggestion and is there any risk or complication that we need to care about. Whether it will affect the baby post birth. Attaching the report for your reference Thank you

A single umbilical artery is a soft marker for foetal anomalies.  She should get her TIFFA done and further action depending on the report.
