Does metfor 500 mg has side effects like diabetes? I also take diane 35 fr my irregular periods. Please help.

Metformin is given to treat diabetes so it doesn't cause side effect like diabetes .
but yes since it lowers blood sugars - watch out for excessive sweating , giddiness , weakness ( signs of hypoglycemia)
Drink plenty of water
Do not skip meals after tablet
