I have been experiencing pain in my left buttock (glute) for the past couple of years. The pain does not radiate to my thigh or spinal region. Doctors have diagnosed it as an L4-L5 disc bulge, but I disagree with this diagnosis. Pregabalin and Nucoxia do not provide relief. I have to take either Flexural D or Flexabenz Plus to minimize the pain, but I always feel it. I suspect that I might have gluteal tendinopathy, as the symptoms and causes are very similar.

Are there any tests I can undergo besides an MRI? I am claustrophobic.
