Shoulder Sprain
I'm suffering from shoulder sprain on my left arm which occurred a week ago during swimming. Intensity of the pain has decreased considerably but, whenever I do some work intuitively with my left hand, the pain triggers. Right now, hotspots for the pain are at end of the arm near the shoulder and also beside the backbone where the bone emerges out regularly. Any suggestions?

If your pain has reduced considerably, we can hope the pain will phase out slowly. Normal recovery time is three weeks by which time the pain will subside completely. If the pain increases drastically or if there is a feeling of instability you should consult a doctor immediately.
Next Steps
Do pain free shoulder movements like lifting your arm up or and reaching on the side at least 10 times a day, otherwise shoulder  movements  may get restricted.
Health Tips
Avoid movements  or activities which aggrevate the pain. avoid sleeping  on the painful side.
