Shoulder pain
I have had ongoing pain in my right shoulder for just over 2 months now. My shoulder tends to click and make a crunching noise, when it does this it is quite painful. I have also noticed that even lying on it makes is click and it becomes numb, I also get a feeling in my shoulder. If I could describe it, it would be like the feeling you get before you get pins and needles. As I am still in school I have to write and even when writing my arm starts to ache easily. I have pain in my neck when turning it to the effected shoulder. I was told to do some shoulder exercises but noticed no difference. Me and my mom managed to crack my shoulder, it was fine for about 2 hours before I had severe pain on my lower arm.

Symptoms suggest a labral tear. Conditions needs evaluation with X-rays or MRI. You can try: 1. Hot water compression thrice daily for 1 week. 2. Shoulder exercises. 3. Medications like Enzomac and Evion LC will help. 4. Gentle neck exercises for cervical pain.

Greetings,   sorry about the pai. You have an muscle imbalance at shoulder which is causing you the trouble.   You neck and shoulders are linked so whichever gets pain can create discomfort at both areas.
Next Steps
ice to shoulder and neck thrice a day or as needed for 5 minutes.   get to see a physio specialised in posture correction, it is the best solutions both short and long-term.   in mean time use a sling to rest it.  treatment approach is relieve pain plus correct muscles which are not having correct length to hold joints in proper alignment. which is the reason you get clicking sound. note - exercise is required but not at this stage, physio is the best person to decide how to start exercise.
Health Tips
avoid writing or minimise it and also avoid sleeping on affected shoulder.  if unable to get a physio or if problem still persist for various reasons you can get treatment from my clinic. be assured it can be treated and cured permanently.
