Oh Yes you're right, Physiotherapy helps. Dislocation usually happens with weaker muscles of rotator cuff. Strenghthening Rotator cuff properly would decrease the chances of dislocation.
It would take around 2-4 months for regaining strength in muscles & most of the time these exercise once learnt properly can be done at home only. Good luck !
