Shoulder dislocation
First time his shoulder was dislocated in 2016 during an accident. Then in 2017 while dancing, and then in 2019 while picking something (not heavy). Recently his shoulder was dislocated in april'21 while he was working on laptop. Would it be wise to get a MIR of his shoulder first and then consulate a doctor regarding same to know better cause.

Yes. Mri is necessary but have to evaluate a few things before doing an mri or ct scan. There may be a bony or soft tissue problem.
Next Steps

Wise will be to visit a shoulder surgeon first. After thorough clinical examination and xray. Need for CT scan/MRI is assessed. Once confirmed, you can proceed for the same and review.
Next Steps
Consult online.
Health Tips
Bony procedures outweigh Soft tissue procedures in long run, in high need scenario like sports etc.
