Severe pain in neck and both the arms
My father fell down three days back and at that moment he was not able to move his hands and legs for a few seconds and then pain started in hand and neck with burning sensation in both hands, since that day he is not able to sleep. Consulted a neurosurgeon and the doctor asked for MRI, as per reports the doctor has suggested to visit an orthopedist as the spinal nerves have been suppressed by the bones.
Please advice because he is suffering a lot because of this.

Your history suggests that spinal nerves are involved. You have to consult an Orthopaedician without delay. MRI will give the clear picture about the level of damage. There may be a possibility of vertebral fracture. See If his sensations and power is normal in the hands and feet.
