Severe lower back pain from 15 days
My mother is suffering from pain in lower back from last 15 days . MRI reports says TYPE 2 MODIC CHANGE SEEN IN LUMBAR VERTEBRA . MILD DISC DESSICATION WITH DIFFUSE DISC BULGE , FACET JOINT ARTHROPATHY NOTED AT L3-4 LEVEL . Kindly suggest us .

• Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

She would benefit from physio. Once pain settles do back muscle strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury

Might physiotherapy wil  help u.. Take electrotherapy and physiotherapist wil teach u some exercise programme after consult.
