Severe leg pain
My blood report says platelets count is 134 and some giant platelets are seen. RDW is 14.6 andMPV is 14.2 . Is anything wrong. I also have sharp shooting pain on right side of upper back near shoulder blade which increases with deep breathing since a week.

Where is the report ?
Giant platelet is very rare cell so doesn't present normally.
Platelet count is not so much less so no worry point about it .
RDW >12.54 - anisopoikilocytosis -unequal size of RBC - could be due to iron deficiency Anemia .
MPV -14.2 indicate high platelet volume so could be due to infection present recently .
When body fight with some infection like any viral or any trauma then platelet use in this so platelet count decrease and in response to take body will make larger platelet so MPV can be increase .
After infection those will be normal .
You have shoulder pain also so -it occurred due to why ? .
So need more history to rule out exact diagnosis .

Who recommended?
Kindly go for mild analgesics and muscle relaxants for 5 days.If not relieved, take chest x-ray AP view and review
