High platelet indicates
Hello doc .I tested my CBC a week ago ... everything is within limits except platelet indicates.TPC - 1080000 (manual count 2.8 lakh),MPV - 15.2,PDW- 22.4,PlCR -64,I did blood smear test also ...the result is Normocytic blood picture.i have no symptoms due to fatty liver I changed my diet 6 month ago .after that my platelet count varries.what the problem...? I'm fine ?now I am free from fatty liver.

Sir blood parameters are dynamic, it doesn't stay same , there can be lab to lab variation, also variation in results from same lab . As long as you don't have health issues pertaining to concerned lab results, these variation can be ignored. And fatty liver has nothing to do with your CBC report.

Need not worry about platelets . It will be because of altered lipid profile. With medications it will improve.

Hi ,sometimes when you recover from illness the platelet count can be on higher side .
