Severe headache
Hi Doctor..I am 2 months pregnant residing in UK. I am having severe headache on left side, from last 4 days. It starts from my left eye to back but sometime it is just a small area of my head from top. My doctor asked me to take paracetamol tablet but it doesn't work. M suffering day n night in this pain& couldn't take any medicine of my own. Please suggest what medicine to take which is safe & effective too.

Paracetamol is the safest pain medication in pregnancy. But the kind of pain you are describing sounds like a migraine headache, which might need different medication. Better to get an opinion from an internal medicine physician as well. Also if blood pressure is high you might develop headaches, so pls keep that in check too.
