Severe cough
I am having severe cough since yesterday and I had taken dry cough syrup but still it is not reduced. I have also taken Augmentean 625 2 times a day and Relent at night. I am taking the syrup of codistar DX. Please let me know what are the medicine that will reduce my cough

Please tell detailed history..
Is it cough associated fever , Throat pain , sputum
Saline/Betadine solution gargles at least 3times a day
Take plenty of water
Avoid fast food and oily spicy food
Avoid cool drinks ,ice , icecream & cold water
Take antihistamine also
