Dear Madam, Carpel tunnel syndrome is specific condition with some specific clinical and lab tests that help us diagnose this condition. However every wrist pain is not due to a carpel tunnel syndrome. A diagnosis and treatment conclusion can be reached on after a detailed clinical examination by a orthopedic specialist. Best regards

As correctly said by Dr Ashwin it might not necessarily be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. There are other structures which may be affected and widely we have also seen people with neck or arm pain presenting with similar complaints expecially when there is nerve sensitivity developed.
Next Steps
See an orthopedist or Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to get it examined
Health Tips
Avoid using the affected hand for a sustained period of time. Respect the pain and go easy before you let it become worse.
