Reasons
1. Generalised sensation (-all the teeth) - attrition , abrasion , root sensitivity due to recession of gums - use any antisensitivity paste( ex themoseal , vantej, sensodyne ) for the same
2. Localised (particular teeth or side ) - visit a dentist
Reason may be cavity in teeth which needs professional help
If the issue is painful due to heat n cold intake
Again may need professional help

Use Thermoseal RA or Sensodyne Rapid Relief or Vantej or Sensoform toothpaste. Use any one among these toothpastes. Take a toothpaste on your finger and apply it there on tooth where he feels sensation to hot and cold. keep it there for 5 to u minutes. Then take a pea sized toothpaste on tooth brush and brush ur teeth properly with this toothpaste only. Do brushing with any one of these toothpastes and Do it for at least 15 days. Use Ultra soft toothbrush for Brushing. change the toothbrush after every 1 month or 15 to 20 days. And again for more relief use Sensoform k gum paint. Take 2 to 4 drops of gum paint on a cotton and then apply it over tooth. Apply this gum paint for 4 to 5 times in a day. It will also reduce sensitivity
RA thremoseal toothpaste, keep applied on tooth for 5minutes, followed by that brush teeth thoroughly and rinse twice a day for 15 days regularly.
Followed by that if sensitivity has reduced, start using normal tooth paste. And only on necessity use RA THERMOSEAL.
