Sensitive teeth
I have sensitive teeth and plaque also my dentist said that i should go treatment first for sensitivity and than I'll go scaling Please tell me is he right?

Hello sir.... plaque deposits can be cleaned (Scaling) by dentists.... sensitivity is due to enamel loss by hard tooth brushing,or due to cavitiation of your teeth.. if it is due to cavity formation get x-ray(IOPA)of the involved tooth done... The cavity needs to be filled.. if there is any enamel loss near cervical region then tooth volour filling is necessary

After scaling sensitivity generally increases slightly. You can opt for sensitivity treatment like varnish etc after scaling

Can't make out what treatment he has advised. A filling ? Flap surgery? If you don't trust your doctor you can always take a second opinion by someone else. Donot panic. Think....take your call. He would have suggested so because scaling itself increases sensitivity for 2-3 days. So maybe the sensitivity is the chief problem.
