Semi solid foamy stool of 2.5 years
My 2.5 years daughter is passing semi solid and semi liquid type foamy stool 6-7 times/day since last 5 days. Foamy time stool is greenish coloured. Some mucus type has been noticed in stool. Sometimes she is feeling pain in her stomach. No other symptoms like fever, blood have not been noticed. She is active. Oftenly air is pasing through anal area. Please suggests as the Dr. was not available over phone.

Keep your child well hydrated. Give her plenty of water. Coconut water and buttermilk/chaas is good too. Avoid sugary drinks like packed juices and colas. Make sure she's not eating any outside food and the drinking water is clean. Try stopping milk for a few days. Give curd instead. Syp Zinconia (zinc acetate) 20mg/5ml, once a day for 14 days.

Report to a hospital if - child becomes lethargic/inactive - stomach becomes bloated - excessive inconsolable crying - repeated vomiting - blood in stools

Okay hydrate her well with good encouragement for water orally and check on wat she was eating, any habit of mouthing things from floor
