Semi solids for 7 months old baby
Can I give tomato puree to my 7 month old baby ??pls suggest ..is it safe ?I never heard from anyone about tomato puree for 7 month old baby .

Agree with my colleagues...and would add.
Tomato cooked well with other well cooked veggies will make a great savoury vitamin C enriched soup...to add to mashed rice or baby cereal or meal after 10-12 months age.
Tomato puree shouldn't be given.. uncooked...which will be like raw tomato juice...which many older kids and adults may not tolerate too!!

Tomato puree can be added at 1 year of age .They are not recomended before that due to their sour nature

Tomatoes can be best referred till 10-12 months of age...they are not easy to digest.... especially raw tomato purees.
